Our Story
Established in 1999, Battleford Dental has been serving the Mississauga, Streetsville, and Meadowvale communities for more than 25 years. Located conveniently near the No Frills grocery store and West Credit Secondary School. Our clinic is easily accessible to residents from Meadowvale, Streetsville, Erin Mills, and surrounding neighborhoods.

Dr. Terry (Sung Woock) Hong, DDS
Practice Leader, Dentist​​
​Dr. Terry Hong is a kind and thoughtful dentist with a passion for helping patients. Dr. Hong is a family man. He is the proud father of two daughters (Leah and Hazel) and the proud husband of the renowned optometrist Dr. Youn who practices in Oakville.
Born in Korea, Dr. Hong became a proud Canadian at eighteen. He attended Bayview Secondary School, McMaster University, and went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Melbourne University in Australia. Dr. Hong has worked in urban and rural environments. He enjoyed his time in Listowel, Ontario, where he gained extensive experience quickly servicing the local rural population.

Dr. Hong is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, Halton-Peel Region Dental Association, and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO)

Jennie Jung
Denturist
​With a deep passion for patient-centered care, Jennie Jung combines technical expertise with genuine compassion to ensure every patient feels confident and cared for throughout their denture journey.
A graduate of the Advanced Diploma in Denturism program at George Brown College in 2015, Jennie Jung has been proudly serving clients across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Her commitment to crafting personalized solutions goes beyond restoring smiles—she focuses on the overall well-being and satisfaction of each patient, building trusting relationships and delivering exceptional care from the first meeting to the final result.

Since 2016, Jennie Jung has also shared her knowledge and skills as a Clinical and Lab Technologist in the Denturism Program at George Brown College, training Canada’s future denturists with the same dedication she brings to her own practice.

To stay at the forefront of advancements in Denturism, Jennie Jung regularly attends dental conferences, fostering professional growth and ensuring her patients receive the highest standard of care.

When not in the clinic, Jennie Jung enjoys spending time with her two wonderful boys, traveling, and exploring new cuisines. Her role as a mother has strengthened her empathetic approach, ensuring every patient experience is warm and personalized.

Dr. Kyeong Kim
Practice Founder, Dentist
​Dr. Kim founded Battleford Dentist nearly three decades ago. He is an excellent dentist with more than 27 years experience in practice, specializing in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Dr. Kim is a proud member of the local community.

Dr. Kim is a graduate of the University of Toronto. He lives in Mississauga with his family, and is the proud father of three daughters.
